Jay and his team were professional, courteous and responsive. They care about their work and its quality. Not only does Jay take the feedback of his clients seriously, but he does not rest until they are fully satisfied. While remodeling our master bathroom, Jay was able to to coordinate re-tiling our kitchen floor and installing new backsplash at the same time. Jay is not just a builder. He has an eye for design and his input to that part of the process was really appreciated. The most impressive part of our experience working with Jay the Builder was his communication skills. From start to finish, Jay was available 24/7 to answer all questions and address any concerns in a timely manner. Coming from a corporate background, I especially appreciate Jay's professionalism, flexibility, and kindness. There is no "perfect" company or contractor; you can only hope, despite reviews, that all the stars align and things go as smoothly as possible. But when they don't, Jay is a great asset to have in your corner. We are happy with the finished product and look forward to listing our home on the MLS soon. We recently used Jay the Builder for a few projects: gut and redo our master bathroom, remove a popcorn ceiling in the master bedroom, and refresh a half bath. It was a great experience from start to finish. Jay was professional and a pleasure to work with. He was helpful, had good ideas, and was always available to answer questions. He submitted a detailed bid and stuck to the budget and the timeline. His crew showed up on time and stayed until the work was done (and Kwame and Henry were so nice to our old dog.) And, most importantly, they did quality work. I’m happy with it all, especially the beautiful walk-in shower, but I think my favorite part may be the bathroom floor, and that’s because of Kwame’s attention to detail with the hexagonal tile (so many cuts!)
