The electrician I hired to replace a ceiling fan showed up on time, which was nice because I’ve had issues with that in the past with other electricians but these guys were great and very easy to work with. Vernon at Richardson Ready Electric was referred to me by my longtime HVAC service provider (who I trust implicitly). Happy to report RRE appears to be cut from the same cloth: Vernon tried to help me diagnose a breaker box issue over the phone then came out the next day to inspect and provide an estimate. He ran some tests and narrowed it down to a breaker circuit replacement– then showed me how simple it was to replace it. Vernon game me two options: he could replace it at a cost of $100 (or) I could run to Home Depot and do it myself for $10.99. When I offered to pay a trip charge he refused it, saying “This was an estimate and we don’t charge for estimates”. Needless to say, he could have easily quoted the $100 and I would never have questioned it– or known how simple it was to DIY. Vernon and his company are my go-to electricians for life now. Richardson Ready Electric recently installed our gymnasium lights at Faith Lutheran School of Plano and has also done other smaller jobs around our campus. Workers were professional and very courteous. Excellent work!
