July 2021 I had two new hot water heaters installed by a plumber. Both units are the same model and were installed the same day by the same plumber. On Feb 5 2023 the downstairs unit shorted out inside the electrical hot water heater where the plumber connected the wires to the hot water heater. Not sure what happened but apparently the wires can vibrate and work themselves loose if not fully secure. I called the electrician and he came the same day and inspected the downstairs unit and repaired the connections. (Stripped the wires and reconnected them). After the downstairs unit was repaired I had the electrician inspect the upstairs unit to ensure the same issue would not happen to that one as well. He inspected it and said it was fine. July 10 2023, I hear loud popping and open the upstairs unit door and the entire enclosure is filled with smoke from the upstairs unit doing the exact same thing as the downstairs unit. Shorting out. The power went out at our home during this terrible heat, and we called a handful of places to come repair the problem.. The first one to reply was the best one- this guy. I would use this guy again every time. He fixed the breaker, and showed us how and why it broke. Absolutely a pleasure getting to have this gentleman come repair our electrical breaker.
