Sprinkler Master Repair - (Utah County) Provo

So I got a little bugged looking at the invoice as they sent two techs for a one tech job and they charge $85 per hour EACH. So really, they charge $170 per hour. Second, they send two “kids” that couldn’t collectively of had all but two years combined experience in the field. They tell me everything’s working great—issues fixed. Here’s your bill for $350 for 1.5 hours of work+parts. I walk out to my side yard two days later and that station isn’t even kicking on. I call them, tell them it’s not working and ask if they’re going to make it right because I’m not paying another dime. They tell me the tech would call. Their way of making it right was to have the young man who couldn’t fix it in the first place, ask me a bunch of random questions about the work they did. I said forget it and at this point I’m just going to dispute the charge with my bank. Usually when you pay high dollar for something like this they at least have good service—not here. The work provided by the technicians onsite was great work and extremely efficient, however the supervisor the reported to was a jerk and does not have the customer's best interest in mind. Dollars appeared to be his only motivation. If it was just the technicians I would have given a 5 star review. Not sure I would do business with them again. I had a very positive experience with them. The were professional and did the work quickly. I had a broken sprinkler head, but what I wanted more than anything was just an overall tune-up. They spotted several issues and checked with me before working on any of them. I thought the price was fair. Side note: This wasn't an issue for me, but I think they should make it clear whether they are sending one or two people because they do bill you per hour, per person. I'm not sure I think that two people can do a job twice as fast, but, again, this wasn't a big issue for me but something to be aware of for others.
