Superior Water & Air

We have had issues with Superior Air and Water not finishing their job 3 times and getting charged for something that broke after they worked on it. Terrible customer service for a company that prides itself on customer service. We had one particular experience that really set us off. We just got charged $105 for a service fee that they refused to waive on something they broke while working on our plumbing. The excuse that was given about the pipe that broke after they had worked on the neighboring pipe was, "Your plumbling is old and if it broke its not our fault." We had some drywall that needed to be patched up too from the same service. We were told we get a call within 2 WEEKS. 5 weeks later, nothing. We decided to make one phone call about the pipe and the drywall instead of calling multiple times and we were told that we were past the 30 days so we would most likely get charged. Our water heater sprung a leak and caused a small flood requiring it to be replaced. I confirmed with the manufacturer our warranty was still active and just needed to do a warranty swap. Since Superior was the installer of our water heater, I thought it would be less headache to have them perform the swap. However, they would not give me an estimate over the phone and said they would have to come out to take a look and charge me $150 to get an estimate. Other companies I spoke to were able to give me a fixed price over the phone for a warranty swap so disappointed with Superior to say the least. Ended up using another company that did the swap flawlessly without needing to charge me to get an estimate.

Superior installed brand new furnace and ac for us in April 2021. We were extremely pleased with them at the time of installation. Fast forward to November 2022 (1 & 1/2 yrs later) and our furnace will not kick on. We are told that because we are out of our 1 year service warranty and that it will cost us $250 for an after hours visit! After some back and forth over the phone with the repair technician, we determine we will call around to other companies to see what they will charge. We end up working with Mountain Air who only charges us $80 for the visit. The technician with Mountain Air tells us what happened is that an aftermarket device was put on with the original installation that detects moisture and shuts the system down if moisture is detected. He tells us that these devices fail all the time (which is what happened with ours, especially considering there was no moisture to detect) and that he isn't sure why it was installed in the 1st place.
