Whipple Service Champions

We had need of a solution to help temperatures even out in our master bedroom and a new water heater. The solution was to install a new HVAC hybrid heat pump solution. This included a new tankless water heater and water softener. The install team was fast and got the job done in one day. They are very nice and courteous. Issues: 1. The new HVAC system has a loud groan when starting. They sent a very nice tech to fix the issue. After some checking, he determined this was normal. 2. The AC startup has never been completed. The AC ‘cools’ the house but is far less effective than the old system replaced. I have contacted them multiple times to have this resolved. Nothing to date has been done. 3. Water heater exhaust was run via the fresh air intake. It is not secured and is very ugly. The city inspector came and asked them to run it via the previous exhaust vent to the roof. Instead, they came, capped the vent off, and cut holes in the mechanic room to let fresh air in from the hallway. 4

Whipple did our HVAC installation back in February 2022. We chose Whipple because they seem to have such great reviews, however our install was very upsetting to say the least. Things started out great, but then was told that they made the wrong cut in the wall, which was our load bearing beam (see photo)! Also after the install was complete, I noticed that my scentsy was missing the wax holder top...then when moving furniture back to their normal spots, I noticed a few broken pieces of the holder on the ground - not a big deal, but why not tell me?? Then as for getting the paperwork for submitting with our taxes for the rebate, has been a joke! I called them to retrieve the documents in April 2023, but found out we needed an inspection first, so after all the back and forth there between failed inspections and fixes by them, our inspection finally passed mid-July 2023. Whipple tech Gene Shelley provided my annual furnace check and did an amazing job. He was meticulous and professional in every respect. In his detailed examination of my systems he identified that both of my old heating systems had dangerous cracks in the heat exchangers that would pose a safety risk for my family.
