Shady sales pitch. Ignored a lot of our concerns. Staged phone call with his boss. Really insisted on us mentioning what we liked about them before we even knew anything about them. Guilt tripped us a bit. The ad for this company was a complete lie because it promised that you could get a grant to pay for the windows if you met 3 requirements. What they didn’t say was that there was a fourth: income of $30,000 or less per year. And of course, the moment we filled out our address and phone number, got a call a few minutes later and another few minutes later he was there to take measurements. Pretty eager. Well, need I say more? Yes, our windows are old and yes we should replace them sometime. But we know that competition offered it to us for $20,000 about 4 years ago. Prices have gone up a bit so maybe now it’s 30k now but he tried to convince us the average for our number of windows was 79,000 dollars. So he offered us the job for $109,000 then some discounts and still around 100k. And

DaBella salesmen came door to door and talked with my wife. She had been thinking about getting a small section of rain gutter on part of our roof, and started talking with them about that. They ended up talking her into getting new windows for the whole house (6 windows) for $8000! With financing on monthly payments, the end total is over $16,000, something my wife wasn't told. After checking around, we discovered that these windows are WAY overpriced. They repeatedly told my wife that our current windows were "out of code" and would not pass inspection, even though we are not planning on selling our house. The pressure was on to have her electronically sign for a down payment of $1000. After discussing the purchase with my wife for several days, my wife finally realized we don't really need or want new windows, because our windows are just fine, and we can't afford new ones. Salesman Justin drove out to Kanab from St George (3 hrs round trip) twice to make sure we got the new windows we needed badly. He was very personable, polite, and helpful. He worked for a week on getting us the financing we could afford. We both feel he went above and beyond to help us. He is a wonderful representative for DaBella and I will be using this company again in the near future for other home projects.
