Expert Handyman did a wonderful job in a long-overdue remodel of my townhouse style condo. In a nutshell, I had the main level updated with fresh paint and crown moulding - what a difference! In the lower level/family room, they removed a very old ceiling with glued on tiles and replaced that with new drywall and recessed lighting - what a difference - I can actually see down there now! Lastly, was the lower level Neo-angle shower remodel - major difference! Expert Handyman's management team really helped me to hone in on the work to be done and provided valuable recommendations. Estimates and final billing were accurate. Carlos and his team were assigned the project and worked steadily and very thoroughly over the better part of two weeks. Repairman who came was very pleasant, polite, and considerate, however, can't recommend company due to rather exorbitant pricing. In our case received a $320 estimate to enlarge a pre-existing plumbing/electric access door in a closet. Thought that was at least $70 over reasonable price but decided to proceed anyway. Materials were essentially 2x2' section of plywood sheet, two hinges, a $1.00 hook and eye latch, and four pieces of wood to frame edges of plywood board (no painting). Final bill came in over $360.00 (over the already high estimate). I ended up throwing their latch away and replacing with my own $5 spring loaded latch which had to be mounted at bottom corner because board/door was too warped. I could have done this myself with $50 in materials in about 90 minutes max. Lesson learned. I advise shopping around for a more reasonable quote if you get an estimate from this company. Awesome service! Ask for William if you need tile work done! I recently got the shower valve in my bath upgraded and it required removing 9 tiles around the handle leaving a gaping hole in the wall. William was able to get the tiles re-installed with the new handle and you wouldn’t even be able to tell there had been a hole there. If you need a handyman, call Expert Handyman.
