I hired TC Electric Chesapeake, VA to install two ductless mini split air conditioners. TC Electric bought 16 ft installation kits containing copper tubes, a drainage hose, and an electrical wire. The first install didn’t require a kit 16 ft long. TC Electric was going to return the 16 ft kt and purchase an 8 ft kit instead. The day of the install, TC Electric installed the 16 ft kit. TC Electric did not discuss installing the 16 ft kit with me. TC Electric said the manufacturer doesn’t make an 8 ft kit. I went to the manufacturer’s website, and the manufacturer does offer a 10 ft kit. I asked if the installation kit would be cut to length. TC Electric said no because the kit could not be cut. TC Electric said the approximate 8 ft of extra copper tubes, a drainage hose, and an electrical wire would be curled up and tucked behind the motor. I FIRED TC Electric before they could do any more work. I hired a professional who cut the excess copper tubes, the drainage hose, and th
