Richards has been great! They installed my unit 9 years ago and recently replaced a capacitor to get it running again. The part was luckily under warranty so they were able to do the service for the cost of labor only. The technician arrived on time and was very efficient. Richards is GREAT! Our water heater developed a leak at 4PM. We called Richards and they scheduled an appointment for the next morning between 7:30 & 8:30. At 8:30 they called to say they were running late and would be there at 9:00. They arrived and within 20 minutes had determined the water heater needed to be replaced, the price, they had it in stock and that it would be done that day. At 10:30 am one person arrived to start disconnecting and draining the old water heater followed by two other people who had the water heater. By 1:15 they were through. They cleaned the floor where the old heater was before installing the new one. They were efficient, extremely competent and the price was reasonable. They put drop cloths down to protect the floors and when they were finished everything was cleaner than when they started. We've been using Richards for over 15 years now. We originally switched when our previous company wanted to charge and arm and a led to replace our AC. Richards bid less and won our trust and got the job - and our business. They have always been honest with us, have saved us money, their techs have educated us and given us pointers.
