Virginia Climate

First let me start by saying over the years we have used many of the different HVAC businesses around Richmond and never have we received this level of honest, timely and professional service. We added a large addition to our home earlier this year and used Virginia Climate to put in a new whole home system. Due to the nature of home renovations it became necessary for Virginia Climate to come back several times to move ducts, etc. which was always completed in a very timely manner with very little to no impact to the renovations or our day to day lives. We are so pleased with the new, much more efficient system and would highly recommend Virginia Climate to anyone who asks. Services: Install AC, Heating system installation, Install thermostat

I have previously had this company service my two heat pumps, and then I purchased a service contract in January which was to cover a spring and fall check of both systems. I had them out a couple of weeks ago for the fall check, and when done the technician tried to charge me $199. I told him that I had a service contract, but he still insisted that I owed $199. I refused to pay, so he called the office to check. I heard the first part of the call through my security camera, and it convinced me that I should never deal with this company again. When he came back in after the call, he claimed that he didn’t know what a service contract covered. They he tried to scare me into over $600 in repairs, stating that both systems would fail by spring if I didn’t get these repairs done. I have now had two independent technicians recheck both heat pumps, and NONE of the parts identified as needing replacement had anything wrong with them.
