The Yorktown Handyman team came out and pulled us out of a jam with almost no notice. Called late one evening and explained the situation and they were out fixing the issue at 8:00 the next morning. I haven’t experienced that service in many years. It wasn’t an easy fix, cutting wood shiplap on the ceiling. Both carpenters were very professional and cleaned up after their work. I met with Josh initially to give me an estimate for a series of jobs that I simply do not have the time to do myself. I mentioned that I hoped to keep costs low, but wanted quality work done. Josh discussed in detail with me ALL of the various options and costs, making it quite clear that his primary interest was in satisfying my desire above all else (at NO point was he trying to sell me on anything). He is an honest broker, to be sure! On the day scheduled to do these tasks (and there were many), Josh showed up with two very capable, professional assistants that did ALL of the work in a single day!! (Incredible, given the amount of work I asked them to accomplish.) One of the tasks (fixing my backdoor with some degraded framework) needed a re-attack, and Josh and his team came back later that week to get that done in a single morning.
