We got a couple of free estimates for our old delapitated leaky roof on our 1952 house, and decided to go with Ruiz Roofing because of their excellent reviews, very competitive pricing, and the owner has a extensive career as an ACTUAL ROOFER! Not just a salesman, which we found with the other overpriced companies. Omar came to look at the roof and attic and described what did/didn't have to be done and how, explained airflow, soffits, venting, moisture, rot, basically answered my 101 questions very thoroughly and patiently. Also provided an itemized quote. He directed me to seek a mold specialist first, so I could coordinate their recommendation with Omar, if more of the cedar planks had to be replaced due to the mold issue (we had mold in our attic as well on the cedar planks, yikes!).
