Ryan Costa from AMS installed an EV charger for me. When he came to give a quote, he was very knowledgable and personable. I could tell right away that he was familiar with the work that needed to be done. He gave me a ballpark quote which ended up being almost exactly the final quote. I was surprised at the price and clarified that I DEFINITELY wanted a permit as several electricians did not want to permit the work. He said they ONLY quote permitted work. Big thumbs up on that...they are not afraid to have it inspected. He installed the charger, told me about some potential issues I may have in my house with some aluminum wiring and showed me inside one of the switches in my house. He let me know it's something they can also remediate but was not pushy about it and even suggested what I should do to save some money if I did decide to have them come out. Ryan was great. I would highly recommend AMS electric. I need it to replace the wiring for my switch pump panel and they did a fantastic job. Ryan was the only person who really understood how to solve the problem I had with the previous installation and proposed a great solution. November 30th snow/wind took down my power pole. This is my owned pole, so PSE was not responsible for replacing it. I contacted AMS ELECTRIC (AMS does not replace poles but gave me referrals) On Friday Dec 2nd, the day the pole was installed, Aaron & his crew were immediately ready to start. Lots of snow & rain but they worked all afternoon. Back Saturday AM and worked in freezing weather to finish the job. That night PSE was able to reconnect the power. Aaron was there directing & working with his crew until completed. They have returned later to finish a few details, do a VIRTUAL VIDEO INSPECTION with the inspector and complete the cleanup of the site. This company went way beyond anything I was expecting and there is no way I would recommend or use any other company than AMS ELECTRIC.
