I have used Kanon Electric for several projects including: new septic install, running electricity to a detached garage and installing a temp power pole for a new house build. Each project has been fairly assessed and the estimate is clearly outlined with a few options ranging from the most indepth to a pared down version. This has allowed me to see what price and level of service I need. In addition, they offer a service membership that saves you 15%, reduces the base service visit fee, gives you priority scheduling and a free yearly safety inspection. The cost of your project can actually completely offset the membership fee once they apply the 15% discount. Their prices are not the cheapest and not the most expensive and the quality of their work is well worth every penny. For my garage project, their estimate came in at the same price as another company but the other company was only adding a new line to a J box on the exterior of my house. Grant was great, as is everyone we have worked with at Kanon Electric. They can be counted on to be on time and to do the job correctly the first time. The slightly high cost is balanced by their high quality of work. We will work with them again in the future. My only small note is feedback would be that I personally do not like mixing religion with your business and am not interested in receiving Bible quotes on every email or invoice. I work with Kanon despite this, not because of it. I needed two outdoor flood lights installed. The scheduler on the phone told me they should be able to get these installed within the basic charge of $100, only for the electrician to come in and give me a bill of $6,000 for two outdoor lights!
