I was able to get an appointment quickly. The men were on time and preformed the inspection quickly. The men were friendly and knowledgeable. This was the same company that I purchased the system initially, still doing great after 7 years. Service: HVAC system maintenance

I initially reported a problem of poor installation, but misunderstood what the problem was based on misunderstanding information from the 1st tech that came out from Area. Once I received a response and a foreman came out, we were able to discover the cause of the backup of water into our ducts. The cause was debris of unknown origin (maybe a worm climbed in there recently?) being stuck in the drain line that runs outside. Even though standard maintenance was performed in Feb. Where the line was blown clean, then again, during an emergency that cleared the clog, it was discovered that the only drain line that exists, runs outside the foundation into a 4 inch dry well type was buried under 4-6 inches under gravel aggregate, and dirt. The tech that tested the line never checked the runoff to verify it was clear. Area buried the run off line when it was installed and insist this is their design and has never caused a problem before, so they're free and clear from any liability based on t

I noticed the AC stopped working around 6pm on a 100+ degree day. Called Area Heating and Cooling and left a message with their after hours contact. By 9:30 Brandon had it fixed and up and running.
