Have a 10 year old Trane heat pump system where our room over the garage always had excessive heat in summer and cold in winter. While there were vents to get air, it was never regulated by temp, we were constantly adding portable air conditioners in summer portable heater in winter, when the pandemic hit my wife started to work from home, we set her home office upstairs in the loft as it was the perfect way to allow her privacy and isolation from our day to day routine in the house.Seeing it was time to replace the portable air conditioner for the 3rd time we opted to look at installing another station with our current system and install a thermostat that would better control the rooms temperature.
