Pro Woodcare

Very disappointed with Tim(president) and Steve(foreman). I contacted several companies to restore my log home and ultimately chose ProWood Care. I specifically wanted corn-cob media because our property has a 30-acre lake that has fish and we use it to water our organic crops. We also have well water and a septic. I made it very clear many times and in our contract to use corn cob only (not glass) before our project started. My husband came home to find that glass media was used. Steve was notified and he said his boss would call us. Tim never called. We made our complaints known many times and no one responded. Our gutters were damaged. Our doors and windows were not taped off, my husband had to demand it be done. No one cared. Glass was everywhere inside our house, in our neighbors house and in the lake. The crews took breaks for hours at a time throughout the day and were drinking alcohol leisurely on the job. How many of those hours were we charged for?! Our complaints were

Don’t walk run away from this company. Where to begin- first they showed up on a day that I told them they couldn’t come due to other contractors working on the house. They do not tape or cover anything. They power washed my house and stripped part of my front door (which I had to complain about to get him to fix). They stripped my deck which I told them not to touch. Tim Cross/owner is not upfront about costs and never would provide a breakdown of costs just one overall quote. The owner cares about one thing and one thing only his profit. Tim Cross even swore at me and told me “he personally enjoys firing a few clients each year.”This was after I paid him $16k. He doesn’t listen to his customers and he only tells you how much it is costing him to fix the issues. I can say if it wasn’t for his crew supervisor Minio (who really does care and does his best) this company would have more complaints. Would recommend finding a different company for your needs. We had our deck stripped, stained and had some small repairs. High quality, fair price and excellent customer service. I was referred by my neighbor, whose deck stain always seemed to look nicer and last longer than mine. Excellent choice!
