I wish I came across this company ten years ago! While you could say an AC unit is a commodity, the process of installation is what defines the product. We found American Cooling and Heating to be direct, and honest about the price and process. The installer was the ultimate courteous, knowledgeable professional. I highly recommend them. Had a different company install a 3.5 ton "Goodman" HVAC system (w/ Air-handler) last year (2022). Goodman Unit and Air-handler already failed, LESS THAN A YEAR. From research, it isn't necessarily the unit being faulty, but inferior installation. Randomly searched internet and spoke with SCOT (American cooling and heating), who provided me more information in 15 minute, than any technician from installation company ever did, in their 6-7 day install. Thank you SCOT, as you didn't have to spend the time explaining proper install procedure Now $2,000.00 to repair a year old unit, Bull$:/t. I can't speak to the nature of the companies work, HOWEVER,,, if SCOT is an example of the company's integrity, and work ethic, I'll be using American cooling and heating for my future HVAC needs. I highly recommend American Cooling and Heating! They helped us out so promptly on our failing A/C unit. We were able to have a new one installed under a 10 year warranty with half the cost of other estimates. The installers were on time, polite, efficient. The excellent customer service and the fact they actually answer their phone when calling is a big bonus!! Highly recommend!
