The Service Lion technician told me that my equipment was out of compliance with California's clean energy laws, and that I needed a new AC install. The cost would be $8500, but they would give me the bro deal- only $7500! We called another company for a second opinion. This guy identified the problem as a bad dual run capacitor (a $37 part). We paid him the $99 diagnostic fee and completed the repair ourselves. Many times when homeowners call for repairs, techs are eager to pull scams like this. I would advise others to stay away from this corrupt company with their deceitful practices.

Robert was awesome and represents Service Lion in the best possible way! They came out on short notice to look at flickering lights in my house which happened to be caused by old/faulty breakers. We received a reasonable estimate, it was repaired same day, and Robert did an excellent job explaining the entire process thoroughly - making sure to use 'non electrician language' that I could easily understand. Not everything went smoothly (as can happen) but Robert took ownership, held himself accountable, and made everything right. I wound up signing up for their support services as a result so I can get priority scheduling and future discounts. My house is almost 50 years old so having the reassurance was important to us.

Senior Technician Robert Maldonado did an excellent job. He was personable and professional. He was well informed and was a good communicator. I appreciated his skill and work ethic.
