When my roof needed to be replaced back in January of 2021, I researched and found Royalty Roofing! Based on the numerous positive reviews I read, I made an appointment and was very surprised to have the business owner, Roi, come out and measure the roof and give me an estimate. Before the job began, Roi generated a contract with details and payment installments, which were adhered to during the job. Roi communicated the details of the roof replacement and explained all the intricate details involving the process and costs (up front), which is what I needed to know before deciding. I appreciate in the end of the process, there were no surprises or extra costs, which were not disclosed up front. After interviewing three other roofing companies in the area, Royalty Roofing was the only company which came within range of the insurance company’s estimate. CAUTION !!! BAIT AND SWITCH BID!!! Joe came out last week and spent an hour inspecting our roof . He gave us an a price of $6500 to do the section of the roof. We SIGNED their contract and GAVE HIM A CHECK for the downpayment. This morning he arrived with a small crew (2 people) and no tools or materials. Joe was here for about 10 minutes when he rang the doorbell and told us he couldn't do it for the price he had quoted and it would cost $4000 more than quoted AND CONTRACTED FOR!!!!. We will report Royalty Roofing to the Better Business Bureau . Our neighbor one street over has told us they did the same Bait and Switch bidding technique with him and charged him way more than the original bid once they had started the job. They did a good job on his roof but he paid $32,000 for a shingle roof on a 2200 square foot house . Royalty Roofing needs to know that a review like this is the consequence of their dishonesty.
