Ace HVAC and Appliance Repair

Don't be fooled, this is a 1 man show, and the 'guarantee' is fake. You will never get your money back if he can't fix it. The address on google seems to be the business owners home. We went there to complain about our service, and he answered the door in pajamas, shortly after we called to see why they did not show up to our appointment. I should have stopped there, but I let him work on our commercial air conditioner. He charged us twice as much, and didn't even fix the issue. A real repair man was able to fix our problem for half the cost. Please don't give this person your business, I got ripped off and I hope you won't! It seems that from these other reviews he can do some small repairs, but if he doesn't get it right the first time, you're money is gone and the paper he gives you stating a 'guarantee' is just a piece of paper if the guy never returns your calls. Very happy with the repair done to my AC. Amazing speed and excellent service. Called Saturday late afternoon, and ACE technician arrived in an hour. It only took Al and Alex 2 days from diagnosing the problem, skillfully taking out the broken piece, ordering and picking up the replacement, and then putting it on to ensure the problem is fixed. My furnace had stopped working. I called them in April 2019 and the guy who came told me the PCB (printed circuit board) was bad. He said only he will order it from a certain supplier and gave me an estimate of about $600 plus labor, totalling $900. The part was much cheaper at Amazon at $150. He said he will not provide any guarantee for it to work if we buy it ourselves. I got suspicious and did not take their service. He charged me $55 for the diagnostics fee. I called another company in July 2019. The person fixed the issue in 15 minutes. The limit switch had shut off as the filter was bad.
