Budget Electric

My home warranty company assigned budget electric to replace my bathroom fan. Michelle, the front office person, is the worst person I’ve had to work with. It took over 3 months to get this fixed and only because I consistently called to make sure everything was going accordingly. Michelle ordered the incorrect parts, she cancelled on me day of because all of the technicians were put on bigger projects. She lied about additional costs, she did not file the correct paperwork for WEEKS until I called to force her to file the paperwork. You have to call multiple times before you can get through to her. She rescheduled last minute/day of on me 3 times, the last time she lied and she tried to call to cancel the appointment the day before but left no message, didn’t call again, and didn’t call me the morning of. I had no idea the technician wasn’t coming until I called. She is extremely unprofessional and generally unpleasant to work with. I will never work with this company again, solely be

We were lucky enough to have Mike as our electrical technician. He took the time to explain everything to us before asking us to proceed with any updates or repairs. He was both friendly and accommodating and payment was smooth. FYI they accept card payments. It was one of THE BEST customer service experiences we've ever had. We will definitely reach out to Budget Electric, specifically Mike, again in the future for any of our electrical needs. TL;DR Mike was awesome. 10/10 would recommend. If I can rate negative, I will. This place is a total scam. To start off, they have a 3 hr window for when the electrician will show up and he is 2 hrs later than the window! Then he did nothing to fix my problem and reported to my warranty company that problem is solved! I won’t find out until I call my warranty. Last but not least and the worst part, they insist I will need panel upgrade to fix the issue and it would cost me over 3k (not covered). Guess what? Another electrician was able to trouble shoot and fix it in 30 mins! Avoid them at all cost and if you warranty assigned them, call immediately to reschedule someone else that has better work ethic!
