Booked to check my refrigerator and was scheduled 2-3weeks. Not a problem. The day before they sent an email confirming the said appointment. On the day of the appointment, they canceled and was rescheduled for the following day. Again no problem. The following day, someone called to cancel the appointment because they have nobody available What kind of business setting up appointment without checking if they have available technicians. I guess Sears is that kind of Company.
My parents were life-long Sears customers, and I thought I would be too; but the last 3+ months of waiting for my oven to be fixed has broken that commitment. During these months we have had 4 appointments made for the same oven issue. 2 out of the 4 were last minute cancellations, and 1 was an error on their part for the time window to show up (I have screenshots of the Chat Bot conversations too.). Still no fixed oven. Also no apologies from Sears. Do they even realize that people have to take time off from their own jobs each time? My husband was also able to use their link (shared when they said they were on their way) to track where their employee was while he was supposed to be en route to our home. The link showed he took a 1-hour stop in between the job before ours when the distance between the jobs was about a 30 min drive.
I had a horrible experience from hell! Purchased warranty from Sears Home Services. December 2018 requested repair of my dryer per contract. Six technicians came and went, difficulty with ordering parts, only 2 seemed to know what they were doing. In May, my husband said, it sounds like a bearing. Repairman said a belt. Sears service was so bad, I was assigned to another company to complete the job. NaNa Repair. The problem was the bearing. Sears customer Service was an experience I wouldn’t wish on a worst enemy! I received a Royal run around, transferred to no less than 25 different people in USA and India over a period of six months. I called every 800, and 866, number given to me as I tried to resolve this poor service and get my dryer repaired as per contract. I fpaid my bill religiously as per my contract agreement up until dispute. End result! Dryer never fixed, not replaced per warranty contract, nor refund of paid $100 deductible. Currently January 2020 I’m still in dispute
