Sears Appliance Repair

Booked to check my refrigerator and was scheduled 2-3weeks. Not a problem. The day before they sent an email confirming the said appointment. On the day of the appointment, they canceled and was rescheduled for the following day. Again no problem. The following day, someone called to cancel the appointment because they have nobody available What kind of business setting up appointment without checking if they have available technicians. I guess Sears is that kind of Company.

Sears has really gone downhill in regards to their customer service. We have an extended service warranty with Sears on all of our kitchen appliances. We called for repair service on 8/4/19 and were told that the soonest Sears could come out and examine our dishwasher would be on 8/19/19 or 15 days after our call. As that was very unacceptable, I called Sears again and got the service date moved up to 8/7/19. The Sears tech arrived, determined that the problem was a blown fuse which he subsequently replaced. He then ran a test cycle (without dishes, glasses or silverware) and the dishwasher seemed to work properly. He told my wife the dishwasher was fixed and to go ahead and use it. She loaded it up, started it and within a minute or so it just stopped on its own; back to square one! I have no complaints with the tech who came out, he was a good guy just doing his job, but try calling Sears to schedule an appointment and plan a service call. Plan to spend a lot of time on the

Their automated system and the tracking website need work. The website gives errors when entering a phone number for tracking texts (used Edge, Firefox, and Chrome; same error). The original repair was scheduled for mid-day on 03/01/2023. The technician was unable to get to us that day. The automated system rescheduled us for 03/24/2023. I called their dispatch who was able to reschedule for mid-day 03/14/2023. When the time for the repair window was almost over, I chatted with their automated system that stated the appointment was delayed again to later that evening. I then catted with a live representative that contacted the driver to assure me the repair would happen that day. The driver arrived about 5pm and took about 1/2 hour to install the keypad on our microwave. A+ for the technician; D for the automated system and the tracking website. Service: Microwave repair
