BYLTUP installed the GAF solar roof on my home. No issues are leaks during the rainy season we just had in Cali. I’ve had the solar up and running for about three months now. on the third month it zeroed out my electric bill. It still produces during the overcast days, but just not enough to zero out my electric bill. I am hoping during the spring and summer time I build up enough credits to keep my bills zeroed out during the winter time. GAF offers an awesome warranty so if it does not produce what I was quoted, I have no concerns about them honoring what they guarantee. If the roof produces what I was quoted it will pay for itself. the cost I was quoted to install a new roof by itself and Solar separately equaled the amount I paid for the solar roof. The good thing about getting the solar roof is that you can finance the cost of the roof. So instead of paying $25,000 cash for a roof by itself, I was able to finance it.
