105 days without air conditioning. They won’t return calls, their technicians are incompetent. If you call during business hours, your call goes through to an ANSWERING SERVICE (during business hours!) and they never call back. Every time they screw up the diagnosis they disappear for a month until we get firm. Then they come out, screw up the diagnosis, try to put in the wrong part, and disappear for another month. Never use this company!!!

It took a week to get someone to my house. They made a repair. In less than a week my air conditioning unit stopped working. I called first thing this am. Left a message. They called me and as soon as I answered the phone they hung up! I’ve now been on hold (still holding) for over 40 minutes. Not impressed with their customer service or the quality of repair. Follow up- after holding for Hour. They someone answers tells me they are transfer me (don’t tell me to who) 15 Minutes later still holding they disconnect me! I’ve called back, and I’m back on (ignore) hold! Service: HVAC system repair

Service techs are good hard working folks, the office people could have been more helpful or organized. American Home Shield sucks. South Placer had week long + wait times to service our AC through an American home shield warranty. After they finally came out 11 days later, they gave me a quote but could not tell me when they could fix the unit until after we paid. I was forwarded to a contracts person who never responded by phone or email to give me an estimate of when the work would be done. We ended up going with another company that could do the work the next day. After fighting AHS they gave us the cash amount they would have paid towards placers repair bill. So if you have a warranty, know that you may be able to have another company do the work and have it cost the same.
