The technician arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the electrical issue as well as proposed / recommended additional improvements. He presented three different options that included more or less extensive work. After I decided the scope of the work, they came the next day and completed the job in a timely and professional manner. It’s not cheap, but electricians in LA in general are not. I highly recommend this company. PS: If the technician proposes jobs that are not strictly necessary, one can still decline and move forward only with the portions of the job that seem more urgent.

Based on their current rating on Google, my experience may be the exception. However, I felt compelled to post my review. I called express for what I believed to be a simple issue with one or two outlets. They never looked at the outlets, spent most of the time at my circuit breaker. The issue in my outlets was not tripping the circuit. After reviewing everything they quoted me $46K to rewire the entire house. They subsequently then went through another list working their way down a list of options. Those priced at $22K, $17K, $9K etc., eventually quoting me $2K as the minimum option to troubleshoot and repair these outlets. I paid the service fee of $89, and sent him on his way. I then called another electrician, he found the issue... a single outlet with a lose wire. He replaced it just in case, checked the outlet before and after that one just in case, and charged me $150.
