I have been somewhat reluctant to write this review, but my experience with 1st Response failed to hit the mark, and I would hate for anyone else to endure the same. This began with a water heater needing to be replaced after a malfunction of sorts. This malfunction caused flooding in a laundry room and also into a portion of the garage. Water mitigation being an immediate concern and something that should have occurred asap. However, other than only a few fans being placed, suitable measures were not implemented within an appropriate time line. This resulted in both the soaked drywall and underlying wood to remain untreated and allowed for the development of mold to occur, and spread to a larger area. After several unsuccessful attempts to reach the office (via email and phone call) - for an update or some sort of communication - I was left wondering what the hangup was and why there was no progress made in regard to removing the affected materials after nearly 10 days later. They did not do a thorough analysis of my water heater before telling me the whole thing needed to be replaced. They lied to my home warranty company about what was wrong, told me a 6 year old water heater was too old. I had a general worker doing other thing for me look at the heater. He fixed it by replacing $230 worth of parts. The company then said they wouldn't work with me because I was rude. I guess they call it rude when you call them out on unethical practices.
