1st Response Plumber of San Diego

I have been somewhat reluctant to write this review, but my experience with 1st Response failed to hit the mark, and I would hate for anyone else to endure the same. This began with a water heater needing to be replaced after a malfunction of sorts. This malfunction caused flooding in a laundry room and also into a portion of the garage. Water mitigation being an immediate concern and something that should have occurred asap. However, other than only a few fans being placed, suitable measures were not implemented within an appropriate time line. This resulted in both the soaked drywall and underlying wood to remain untreated and allowed for the development of mold to occur, and spread to a larger area. After several unsuccessful attempts to reach the office (via email and phone call) - for an update or some sort of communication - I was left wondering what the hangup was and why there was no progress made in regard to removing the affected materials after nearly 10 days later. I can’t put into word how incompetent this company is. They are very rude and have no interest in providing good customer service. I had a plumbing emergency! After they reviewed my plumbing leak it took them four days to report the diagnosis when they told me home warranty won’t cover it I offered to pay out-of-pocket and they refused to give me a diagnosis or an estimate. I called several times and received several delayed responses with in accurate information. Long story short I hired Express Plumbing and they did a fantastic job. They came out the next day and performed the repair. I would never recommend first response to anyone for anything. I’m surprised they’re in business.

HORRIBLE COSTUMER SERVICE!!! I received horrible costumer service from Andrea and Sarah. I have not received a call back for over 3 weeks from these ladies who are supposedly handling my project. I was asked to move forward with opening a claim from my home insurance for damages caused to my house from a leaky pipe. I went ahead and received payment from my insurance but since then (which was over 3 weeks ago) I have not received any communication from Andrea or Sarah. They sent random men to my home without asking to do work on my home. They have ignored me and I still have no clue what the next steps in my project are. My home has been sitting with holes in the drywall, tape on the floor and I believe some equipment under my house? Like I said I’m unsure because I’m being ignored. Today I fired this company for lack of communication and poor costumer service. I will say the laborers were very nice but because of Andrea and Sarah…I will NEVER recommend this company to anyone!!
