Very interesting as they did not post the first review I sent. Do not use Sears repair service for your water heater. I called as the information on my Kenmoore water heater said it still had a warranty on parts and labor. When I called Sears they said that it was stilll under warranty for the parts but not the labor. They assured me the total charge would be $99 for the labor. The guy comes out and tears the lower unit apart and then told my wife it needed a flushing also. She texted me and I said no, it was flushed at the end of March. Sure enough the repair person admitted it was clean clear water as he went ahead and flushed it. Then the technician said that its $249 as he had to put it back together which is not what we were quoted. The tech said to just complain as "they do it all the time." Over an hour after the technician left we recieved an email that is signed with an "X" not our signature for an estimate of $249. On the lower portion of the "estimate" it clearly
Sears service is terrible. Kitchen remodeled 2018, bought new Kenmore refrigerator then from Sears. Ignored my request to remove refrigerator doors to be able to move it into new kitchen, resulted in ripping the door frame to get it in. Tech rude and in a hurry, filed complaint which went nowhere. Compressor went out on the refrigerator within two years--had to schedule twice to get a repair man, who told me that the compressors were a known problem--not revealed to me at purchase. Tried to set up the "complimentary" preventive service that comes with the extended warranty I paid for--two times in two years the appointment was cancelled on the day for which it was scheduled--no explanation, no apology, rescheduled 3 weeks later without my input, no phone number to call. When a tech finally did come (late), he could not answer basic questions about the refrigerator, and basically just vacuumed the back, after blowing the collected lint out (which I then cleaned up). I will not be patron
Compressor went out on my refrigerator sears technician would not do the job unless I agreed to replace the compressor, condenser and motherboard, would have cost over $1,000. I declined and went elsewhere to have compressor replaced for less than half the price sears would have charged and fridge works just fine.
