We arrived to do the water heater and furnace service plan. The tenant then told us about 3 plumbing issues. Darryl replaced the shower cartridge, kitchen and bathroom sink faucets right at this service appointment. This was good that we got everything done during the one visit.

I expected a reasonable quote for replacing angle stops/shutoff valves, which anyone can do with a crescent wrench and channel locks. First estimate was $285 per angle stop (and I need 4 or 5). These are $10 parts (each) at Home Depot, and take maybe 10 minutes each to install. I asked the plumber how long it would take to replace 5 and he said "two hours." So, the estimate was $1,425 for $50 in parts, or $1,375 labor for two hours. After speaking with the service manager the lowest they would go was $1,000. I told them "No" and now I'm headed to Home Depot to do it myself. I will not bother to call this company again.

Annual A/C service and installed a wired-in thermostat to replace the broken one. Darryl @ Biard and Crockett was quick in getting everything done, very courteous, helpful, and answered all of my questions. Service: A/C system maintenance
