I'm a DIYer who has done a lot of home reno over the years, especially after a mold remediation was performed in our home. Had a hose bib that was leaking, and in trying to repair it, I found a previous bend and crack in the copper pipe had been covered up in the wall with layers of solder. Hose bib leak turned in to full pipe leak. Turned into a tricky repair once I got the wall open, so I called ACP. It was Saturday night, so the first they could come out was between 9 - 11 am on Sunday. They arrived just a little before 11. First thing I was told is they could do no work without an asbestos clearance (their policy is any home before 1985 needs clearance). House was built in 1978 - pretty low risk (and I already had the wall open), but I understand their policy. They connected me with a test company that can provide 24 hour results, but they couldn't come out until Monday (results by Tuesday). So we would be without water for 2 more days, assuming tests are negative. Test would cost

Ruben Silva save the day! We were in a jam. Our home is on septic and an auxiliary bathroom connects to a septic pump. At a recent event the pump failed. It’s not a typical plumbing problem so we were hesitant to find a new plumbing service. Thank goodness we found All City Plumbing. Sure enough their plumber, Ruben Silva, arrived on-time on a holiday weekend as well. He assessed the situation and was very impressed his knowledge of our unique situation. He describe what he was going to do and showed us in writing. Ruben did exactly what he said and solved our dilemma. Ruben was cool and confident about his ability as his expertise showed it. Our technician, Joe, that came out to our house was not just professional and very helpful , but he truly cared about making sure we had the best solution to our problem . He was also extremely thoughtful. We had let him know that we needed our guest shower fixed because my mom would be recovering from surgery at our house and using the guest room , and from the moment we shared that with him, he went above and beyond with making sure everything got done and done quickly. He was also so thoughtful and picked out a shower head with a filter on it knowing it was for my mother during her recovery . We were so extremely appreciative of his kindness and attention to detail. He was also very thorough! We’ve used All City a few times now , and every time we’ve received a friendly , knowledgeable and super helpful technician .
