Great experiences with Roberts Heating & Air! We have been customers of theirs since 2013 and on a maintenance contract with them for the past couple years and this year we finally needed to replace our 20-year-old furnace and AC units. They worked out great pricing for us and installed everything in less than two days. Their service staff is very nice and were engaging and patient with my two young boys wanting to know about EVERYTHING they were doing. They don't try to sell you unnecessary things and really work with you and your budget. Can't say enough good stuff! Our new furnace was installed a few weeks ago and it works great with no issues! Came out to provide an estimate. Said I needed the AC fixed on my package system. Ordered parts for the $1700 repair. When the parts came in and the work was to begin, I learned that now I needed a new hvac package, $10,000. I was told the ac could still be repaired but the heat could be an issue if leaking. I asked about a sr discount and was offered $300 off. I felt the need for a new package should have been discussed at the first service call. I cancelled the service and was told I needed to pay to ship parts back to distributer and a restocking fee. I did not pay those since an estimate was not signed and the entire scope of the job changed and increased by more than $8000. I did find a company who replaced my unit for 25% less and did an excellent job. No crane needed, as told by Robert's. The unit was removed easily without a crane.
