5 Diamond Mechanical was referred to me through my real estate agent. The first thing he told me was that 5 Diamond had exceptional service and a high quality installation process. As I sit at my computer the day after installation was completed, I can confidently say he was absolutely right. I first spoke with Carlos Martinez, co-owner of 5 Diamond, on the phone regarding what system would fit my home. He was incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely easy to talk to. Moving into a new home presents a lot of challenges and Carlos was always responsive and flexible with my crazy hours. Once it came time for installation, there was an initial hiccup regarding placement of the condenser. Once I expressed my displeasure, Carlos and his team worked tirelessly to meet my desires and "knock it out of the park" for me. On day 2 of installation, I met Nick Mullins, the other co-owner of 5 Diamond, as well as his coworker Justin McDonald. These guys had the work ethic of 10 people combined and the

used them in the past for HVAC maintenance, which they did a wonderful job. Called them up again when my central AC was making loud sounds. Got in contact with Carlos for his team to come by and take a look. Very professional, found hidden issues with my central AC and found ways to make it as efficient as possible before having to replace the unit. I hired 5 Diamond Mechanical for an AC diagnostics as my water source heat pump was not pumping out cold air. They recommended a few services system flush and coil cleaning totaling around $700 or replace the whole unit. Their initial quote for replacement the units guts, as they call them, was $14K which is outrages as I found out from the manufacturer equipment cost is $3995 + tax & shipping. 5 Diamond than lowered their quote to $10K installed which would mean their install labor cost would still be over $5K for a few hours to install a slide in chassis. I unfortunately purchased the services they recommended which did not fix my issue. Why would I trust them with a new install? Let's just say, I will not be recommending 5 Diamond to anyone I know. ???? Service: HVAC system maintenance
