I just want to leave this because it so surprised and pleased me. I had ACE come out a week ago to fix a leak in my roof. Today in the downpour the roof leaked in the same place as before. So I called back and John (I'm assuming the owner) said he would send the guy in a 1.2 hour to see what could be done. The guys came and looked and felt that this time the skylight was contributing to the problem. They hadn't looked at it last time. They then told me because it was "different" they would charge me $150 to repair. I talked with them and said it must have been part of the problem the last time but they disagreed. I didn't want to make waves and I wanted the leak fixed so I agreed. They fixed the skylight and went on their way. About 1/2 hour after they left I get a call from John. He said he was embarrassed and very sorry that the guys had charged me. He said he paid his men an hourly wage to do work like this and that was not my problem. I have not done a project with them yet but I did get an estimate from them. As a general contractor, I appreciated the professionalism. They are knowledgeable and went above and beyond to give me detailed information to answer all my client's questions.
