I thought American was going to be my knight and shining armor back in July when I was home with my newborn, two toddlers, and two dogs and our AC started blowing hot air. This company was the only one I could find to send someone out on a Sunday evening. I was so appreciative and frankly just desperate to get some cool air going for my kids. This company completely took advantage of my desperation. Not only did they falsify the work order to make it seem like they were here for almost 2 hours when they were here for about 15-20 mins but they did absolutely nothing to fix our AC. The tech told me that it was just too hot outside for the AC to work efficiently during the heat of the day. I figured he was the expert so I took his word for it. A month later and our home temperature had hit almost 90 degrees most days and we finally had to pay another company to come out and find the problem and fix it, so there was a problem with our AC that American did not find. I now have an almost $20
