ADI is a Qmerit-certified installer of a Level 2 14-50 NEMA outlet as part of my acquisition of a Chevy EV. They were actually the second electrician referral by Qmerit as the first one was not responsive. Ariel (the ADI owner) was the opposite. He was on the phone with me and scheduled a walkthrough to provide an estimate. Initially the work I wanted required some drywall work and he gave me cost options that I was appreciative about especially since Qmerit would cover 100% of a standard installation but only up to $1,000 for a custom installation (which based on my specifications would be). I had additional questions about the amount covered so I called Qmerit and explained the situation I had (subpanel in the garage) and they indicated that any drywall work would automatically be considered a custom installation to which they could only cover up to $1,000 and amounts in excess would be out of my pocket.
