My furnace stopped working on Thursday of this week. A technician came over and it seemed like the problem was fixed but that night the furnace stopped working again. I called Poudre Valley Air and the technician, Steve, came out twice. He ended up replacing the blower motor. He was responsive and very honest. He explained everything he did. Our Trane furnace and air conditioning unit were both installed by Poudre Valley Air in 2013 and we get a maintenance contract with them because they are dependable. I can’t speak highly enough about Steve, the technician. He was terrific.
The technicians, Nathan and Seth were absolutely the best! They replaced my 25 year old AC system with a new one. They we’re friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I had other cheaper estimates for doing this work, but I chose Poudre Valley Air because they’ve been here for a long time and I wanted it done right. So glad I chose them. They rock! Service: Install AC
The furnace they installed is great, the price was great. I have used this company before and always been well pleased but was extremely displeased with our experience this time. The installer failed to connect the gas hose to the heater, resulting in venting gas straight into the house which was not discovered until the tenants returned several hours later to find house and yard filled with gas. As it was after hours we called for their 24/7 emergency service and were told that no one was available until the following morning. We had to put in an emergency call to Xcel Energy to come out at midnight and shut off the gas and diagnose the problem; the Xcel man was furious and said the house could have blown up. The following morning we called PVA to repair the problem, and I specified clearly that they were to contact me when they were on their way so that I, as the house owner, could be there. They did not do so, instead they arrived without warning to me or the tenants, fixed it
