"Rapid Install" carpet install is not truly 7 days from start to finish - more along the lines of 21-28 days. Some employees do not have the correct information. Step 1 - you choose the carpet and pad in the store, schedule measurement day, and pay $50 for measurement. You walk away with an estimate. Step 2 - they measure your space, give you a true price, you pay the balance minus $50 previously paid. Step 3 - they call you to let you to schedule install. The carpet is ordered from a 3rd party and shipped in 7 days, then install is based on the local installer's schedule. So, they install the carpet within 7 days of receiving the shipment.

Just as awful a home depot as any other. Entire store constantly in disarray. Cant get to anything between the mobile stairs, closed isles, and pallets struwn everywhere to the point of not being able to get a single cart down an isle without going around. If they hadn't ran every decent lumber/hardware store out of business I wouldnt shop there.
