AJ at Afford-a-Rooter has done annual maintenance work on our sewer line for several years. When our nearly 50-year-old line had to be replaced, AJ and his crew did an excellent job. They were conscientious and thorough. I definitely recommend AJ and his crew and the office staff at Afford-a-Rooter.
This review is long overdue. I do not relish leaving negative review for businesses, but I feel it is important to warn future potential customers so they do not make the same mistake I did. Prior to moving into our house, the inspector found a broken sewer pipe. We hired Afford-A-Rooter because they were the most affordable option to replace the sewer line. Like many sewer repair companies, they state that they are not responsible for damage to irrigation lines. From the get-go it was impossible to get any confirmation from the technicians about when they would actually get to the house. I kept texting random numbers that were given to me when I called, with no response. The pump technician showed up Monday evening, but the inspector refused to communicate with me in any way. He eventually showed up two days later without notice. Friday came and went while the inspector refused to respond to a dozen or so voicemails, texts and emails. Having absolutely no idea when we would get the use permit back was infuriating enough, but we had to scramble all weekend long to postpone our closing! I was out of the country at this time for fam
