Westmore Fuel

After a good decade without a boiler tune-up, I finally scheduled one with Westmore. Someone showed up, spent a good long time getting it back up to speed, but the job wasn't done because it was THAT BAD. The next day, a second technician showed up...(Matthew S) and he finished the job! But uh-oh...about an hour later smoke started filling my boiler room and house. I called Westmore, they sent someone within 5 minutes to fix it...AND, Matthew showed up too, to see if he made a mistake the prior day. He wanted to make sure he hadn't done anything wrong, or if he did, he wanted to learn from his mistake. In the end, it wasn't his fault...there was a crack in a pipe that had occurred unrelated to his work, and he fixed it lickety split. Matthew and the other techs were INCREDIBLY skilled, respectful and did a great job with my troubled boiler. Everyone was sweet and personable...and I would HIGHLY recommend. Stuff happens. Westmore is DISHONEST and doesn’t actually care about its clients. Do not use this company. We considered returning to them and asked that they help with a no heat problem. They charged an extra 30 mins ($79.50) and when the error was questioned, replied that it was a “travel fee”. Less than 24 hours after our question about the charge, they charged our card without our knowledge or authorization for the entire bill because they suspected we’d dispute. They illegally charged our card a day after they invoiced us. Who does this? Outrageous and unacceptable. Also had to spend a lot of precious time on the phone with the credit card company. Enough said about how DISHONEST this company is. Spare yourselves the wasted time and energy dealing with this extremely petty company.

Called Westmore fuel this morning we had no heat last night had to keep hitting the reset button. They sent over one of their Technicians name Michael, checked everything out cleaned and serviced the boiler ,very professional very courteous and very neat, hats off to Westmore fuel and your employer Michael 1/9/23
