On Demand Handyman

I've had Mike from On Demand Handyman: frame out an office space in my basement, hang drywall, do some light electrical, interior painting at my house & rental property, and cut down a small tree. Firstly, Mike was awesome! He replaced all of the rail caps on my 550 sq ft deck as well as a number of the boards that had rotted. He called me within hours of contacting him via his website and came out that day to do the quote. His price was very reasonable, his work was very high quality, he communicated frequently during the process, he kept the work area clean and now the deck is solid and the project is done faster, better and cheaper than I imagined. Using him is a no brainer and I’ve already asked him to come back for another job. Great find. Just don’t book him up so much that I can’t book him for the next job. Mike exemplifies all those qualities too sadly in short supply today --genuine professionalism, honesty, conscientiousness, and pride in a job well done. I first hired Mike to clean my gutters. After previously hired people to do this who did slipshod work and only partially cleared the gutters, unbeknownst to Mike, I snuck out to watch him work and was impressed with how diligently he was cleaning each small section. This gave me the confidence to hire him to prune some tree branches and to take down 3 dead trees in my backyard. Not only was his estimate more reasonable than any I had previously received, but his "can do" attitude was refreshing after I had been told by several tree companies that the fence around my yard and the hills in the backyard made taking the trees down both complicated and expensive. Mike got the trees down in record time and cleaned up and took away all the wood and debris. I was so pleased with his work that I've had no qualms about recommending him to frie
