I found Bill MacCaughern and BMC Handyman Services through a referral from Ring's End Lumber in Bethel. The sales rep instantly recommended Bill as an experienced handyman that could repair my deck, which needed a new railing post and stair stringer that had rotted away over the years. I contacted Bill that day and he gave me a very reasonable quote and time that he could make the repairs. A couple of days later my deck was repaired better than new. I was so pleasantly surprised with the whole experience of working with Bill that he has now become my go to guy for all the repairs that I can’t do myself. This past year he rebuilt and repaired my tool shed that had been leaking and was in disrepair. He also built from scratch a small dock on my pond. In addition, Bill has helped me with some smaller projects inside my house including shower tiling and the installation of some custom window shades that required some ingenuity for a flush mount on the inside of my Anderson window casings.

Bill could not have been more reliable and a gentleman. He knows 100% how to tackle each chore. I thought instead of my usual three holes for every one required, hiring Bill would do the trick.
