Of course the air conditioner goes kaput the night before we’re hosting 9 relatives at our house for a family reunion. Cody at C & S came right out that morning with a used compressor. Boy did he save the day. They have always been prompt, polite and try to fix rather than just charge more to replace. In our case the compressor had had many fixes and it was definitely time to replace our old unit. Next we’re planning to have them put in a mini split in the bedroom as soon as HOA okays it. I wouldn’t think of calling anyone else. They do excellent work. Service: A/C system repair

Only half of the service was accomplished. The Technician reported that the door was locked but in fact the door was open, so the air handler was not serviced. I even called the office a day or two before the service to indicate that the door would be unlocked and the technician could enter the unit. This was important because I indicated in the spring when the service was scheduled that I wanted the air handler coils inspected and provide quote for cleaning as the coils were very dirty. I used a vacuum cleaner to clean the coils that be I could but I'm sure the coils haven't been cleaned in the eight years since the unit has been installed.
