I’ve read lots of negative comments about this company and have found in the past that its always easier to pop the balloon, (negative comments), then to blow it up, (positive comments)! So I’d like to take a moment and tell you about my great experience with Heritage Construction and Roofing. I had significant hail damage to my roof and front door after 2 hailstorms . There was inside damage from the leaks through the ceilings of my closet, master bath and bedroom and my laundry room. My insurance company didn’t want to pay the claim, even after several inspections saying I had significant hail damage to my entire roof with the subsequent interior damage. Heritage went the extra mile for me. They finally hired an attorney, at no extra cost to me, who then hired another group which had their own inspectors come out and do an inspection. They were then able to get my insurance company to finally pay the claim after 9 months of negations. Heritage came out and did a great job putting on

I had the pleasure of speaking with Jane Johnson after she was recommended to me by a neighbor. I inquired about checking my roof for some past storm damage. I was pleasantly surprised by receiving an email response within a short time period that everything was intact! I was impressed by Jane's courteous and knowledgeable demeanor. Jane handled my questions and responded within a few hours - not days (which seems to be the norm). Like other reviews on here, I am also the victim of poor workmanship. My roof was originally installed in DEC 2017 by the previous owners and has had leaks post hurricane. While the shingles and materials are still performing as expected, I had an adjuster and additional roofing company inform me that that a majority of my leaks could have been mitigated by the installation of a cricket by the fireplace and/or proper flashing. When I contacted the company to inquire about the situation and these independent assessments, the office acted defensively rather than try and understand my concerns. This was red flag one, as the company is not a learning organization. Additionally, the office informed me they won’t even look at the roof due to an abundance of new work implying Heritage has prioritized their own new work opportunities over their reputation.
