Cajun Bear AC Repair

I live 2.5 hours aways from my rental property. The AC ceased operation at the rental and I thought it might simply be because the thermostat had gone bad. It's a smart thermostat and I could no longer communicate with it over the Internet. I called Cajun Bear after I got no answer from my other 2 AC companies (understandable in August). Cajun Bear just happens to live 2 blocks from my house so I thought maybe, just maybe, my location would mean same day service even though it was high season in August. He answered the phone on my first call. We discussed the issue and over the phone and he diagnosed with a high probability what he thought was the issue. About 2 hours ahead of the promised arrival time a crew of 2 men showed up at the house, I let them in remotely and they fixed the issue: a clogged drain pipe. Found Cajun Bear on google maps while searching for a local AC company. Got home from work and it was hot and humid in my home and it was late. Ricky came out within 1 hour to investigate. He identified the issue, picked up the replacement compressor the next morning as soon as he could, and installed it. We later found some additional problems and Ricky continued to be responsive even after I had already paid for the work. You can tell this guy cares about his customers! Will use again.
