Epic Air Conditioning

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! TOTALLY INCOMPETENT! Repair man came to my townhouse to fix my AC. Misdiagnosed the problem, I was told I needed a new thermostat, control board and transformer. Replace all the the parts and still no ac. The fuse on the control board takes a 3amp fuse. He replaced it with a 5amp fuse! That’s what ruined the transformer. When I called him on that he said it didn’t matter that is was 5amp instead of 3amp! Of course I called a different repair company. (Griffith ac.) Fantastic FYI. Had the problem diagnosed in minutes! When I went to install a mini split a/c in my garage, I was not sure who to trust, nor what a reasonable price would be. I went to several larger companies, even Home Depot and Costco and got bids that were complete, but higher than I had imagined. My last call was to Art at Epic. Boy am I glad, Art was very detailed in his quote and his service. Came 3 separate times to inspect and manage the work. The price was nearly 40% less than any other quote and my system runs great. I don't go on google and write many reviews, only for the companies I think are great. Art and Epic did a great job.
