CONSUMER ALERT! AVOID Bertie Heating & Air. After 17 years of being a loyal customer, I found I was being price gouged and was treated disrespectfully by Jim Bertie. He actually raised his voice and hung up the phone on me! Really? I gathered up my bills and documentation and drove to Bertie’s office. I was told I never called the office yet I was able to provide call documentation from Cox of the call I placed to their office. Didn’t seem to make any difference. After being told Jim was not in his office, Brenda took my documentation and assured me they would contact me. When I left the office I returned to retrieve something left behind, Brenda & another employee were smirking. No return contact. This business needs training on good business practices 101. NEVER will I deal with this underhanded company again. So much for loyalty. Save yourself the headache and deal with Burkhalter, Bounds, or Mid-Florida Heating & Air. They actually have 24/7 service which Bertie claims

The entire process couldn’t have been better. Danny W. was very accommodating while scheduling the inspection. Danny also put together and explained the pricing options along with the value/benefits of each. Danny is why we chose Bertie - He was an excellent communicator, knowledgeable about product options, and really worked with us to find the best option for what we needed. We trust Danny to take care of any of our friends or family! Jon Jon and Carl were excellent, they removed both AC units and installed the new ones in ONE day. They answered all my questions, they were extremely courteous to our home, and a pleasure to spend the work-from-home day with them. Service: Install AC

Two separate technicians came out for different jobs. Both were timely, knowledgeable, friendly, efficient. Price was fair. We will definitely use them again in the future.
