Shout out to Mid- Florida AC in Lady Lake for giving me a free second opinion on what other "professionals" were saying was my duct work. Chris came by and quickly discovered what was causing a funky smell coming from my A/C vents. He opened up my A/C unit and knew right away. For many of us, we have never heard of using a UV light in our A/C unit but this was here before I bought the house. It was giving off a funky ozone smell that others could not detect but I could. I called multiple professionals and only Mid- FL was able to pinpoint and fix the problem. Disconnected and trashed it! Within 15 min the odor was gone! I highly recommend them for many reasons. They were very knowledgeable. They came out and gave me a free second opinion. They saved me thousands of dollars if I had replaced my duct work. They were very honest and professional. I called this morning about my AC not working and not even a few hours later I'm back up and running despite being the 3rd scheduled stop. I can't say enough good things about this company and the wonderful service man Josh. This young man was very efficient, very knowledgeable and very professional. And also very nice. We have requested that he come out for all our maintenance work. I also recommended MidFlorida Heating and Air to my sister when her air went out. So now she also has a new unit installed by this company and is very satisfied. I also have 7 rental houses which I will be using MidFlorida for all of those as well.
