Dealing with contractors can be a difficult, and on the list of contractors, roofers must be right up there with the most unreliable, most difficult to work with... When asking for roofers it seemed that every recommendation came with some caveat. “They are good, but...” Thankfully for me I found Big Al’s Roofing. Dealing with them could not have been easier. Their prices were fair, quality of work was great and I never had to chase them. Bottom line...they did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it. And as simple as that sounds, I find it’s a rare trait these days among contractors. If you are looking for a reliable, fair priced roofer that stands behind what they say I would recommend Big Al’s. Big Al's replaced our roof recently. We are extremely happy with their work. We dealt with Eddie, he was great. He explained the process in detail and did exactly what he promised. I used Big Al's back in 2019 to replace my roof and fascia. They were great back then. Mario and the rest of the team had great communication, worked with me on timing for different phases, and were always on-time. It seems their level of professionalism and common courtesy has declined since then, which is unfortunate. I tried getting ahold of them early August 2022, and was able to get in touch with the owner directly (still had his number from before) as I never heard back from their offices when I left voicemails or requested a call back through their automated process. I stopped trying to get them to come out mid-September once they missed yet another appointment to come out and see the rotting wood. I sent my final contact to Al both via email and WhatsApp with no response (tomorrow will make 4 weeks since that last communication). Again, they were great in the beginning but a challenge to get them to come out for any repairs to the work performed years later. ** update as per ow
