I initially sought a quote from Istueta figuring it would be an honest assessment, but a high price. Turns out it was honest and an incredibly fair price. The initial advisor explained all the potential work to me and I was ready to roll right then. As soon as we paid the deposit, the project manager Tony did an amazing job of explaining the process and getting the crew out there ASAP. Tony really excelled at making sure we knew what was going on and when. Due to it being an older house, there were a few (expected) hick-ups along the way. Tony was very thorough at explaining the issues and all my options, laying out the pros and cons for any decision I would have to make. When something needed to be done outside of the scope of the roofers, Tony was able to provide contacts that allowed us to continue work without delay. He was an All-star PM. At the end of the day, you might pay slightly more with Istueta but the quality of the work, the quality of the workers, and the professionalism

After scouring the Miami market for the best roofers, I decided to hire Istueta because of their responsiveness, professionalism, and overall "vibe." Their capable team replaced a roof on a part of the house that was in terrible shape after neglect from a previous owner. Along the way we hit some bumps (termites, rot, all the fun things!) and they handled it with ease and made me feel comfortable - shoutout to Tony for dealing with my frantic texts. Another thing that impressed me with Istueta is the fact that it hardly felt like we were having work done - I've dealt with many contractors that leave their garbage and tools strewn about their work area and this was not the case. Every time they left, the area they were I was spotless. The area they worked on looks beautiful now and we plan on using them to replace the entire roof this summer when the house will be empty.
